What does the Your Matches section mean on my Match Me pages?
The “Your Matches” section on the Match Me pages shows you the swaps that are available for you.
What does the Other Matches section mean on my Match Me pages?
The “Other Matches” section shows you the potential swaps that you can make. It shows you the games that members are looking to swap in return for the game that you want or have. The “Other Matches” results gives you the opportunity to look through the games and see if you have any of the games listed (if you have clicked Match Me for a game you want) or if you want any of the games listed (if you have clicked Match Me for a game you have).
Which postage method should I use when I’m sending my game to the person I’m swapping with?
We recommend using First Class Recorded Delivery to send your games. Recorded Delivery is the most secure postage option at a very reasonable price of £1.86. Using Recorded Delivery allows you to track your game online using the Royal Mail website.
How do I know the people I am swapping with are trustworthy?
Similar to eBay, members provide feedback for one another after every swap has taken place. Members have the option to leave positive or negative feedback. Feedback is calculated on whether their swap partner sent the game when they send they would and whether the game was in the advertised condition. Members can leave comments as well as answer the questions.
Next to every game that a member has listed is their “User rating” which allows you to see whether they have received positive feedback or not. A member with five gold stars is a positive swapper! If you are hesitant about making a swap with someone, please send them a message on GaBoom to get to know them a bit more and understand that, like you, they are here to make the most out of the website and make positive swaps time after time.
If you ever don’t receive a game, please report the missing game to Jess by emailing her at info@gaboomswap.com. We will then follow up with the other member and resolve the situation – keeping you in the loop every step of the way.
